Description
Swimming instructors help people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills and techniques, and to exercise in water. Swimming instructors train and develop competitive swimmers.
2. To plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmer
3. To provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques
4. To correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance
5. To make sure safety standards are followed
6. To check that life-saving equipment is in full working order
7. To organise and supervise assistants and helpers
8. To deal with minor injuries and accidents
