GDPR INTERN - LEGAL DEPARTMENT

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal Department as a GDPR Intern. As a GDPR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data protection and privacy compliance processes.. You will work closely with our legal team to ensure that our company complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

·         Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

·         Strong analytical and research skills.

·         Desire to explore the data processing and protection practices.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both Latvian and English.

·         Familiarity with GDPR regulations and best practices is a plus.

·         Assist in conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and data protection audits.

·         Review and analyze data processing activities and data flows.

·         Assist in the development and implementation of GDPR policies and procedures.

·         Conduct research on GDPR regulations and best practices.

·         Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management, team members and regulatory authorities.

·         Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.
