Test Specialist area in our “Talent Greenhouse’’ program

In this program you will receive comprehensive training in technical and professional skills throughout your first year at Cognizant. Our experienced colleagues will guide and support you to help you achieve your long-term career goals. By successfully mastering skills and demonstrating successful performance, you will have the opportunity to work on client engagements

You can expect to:

•         Become part of our European Quality Engineering & Assurance team which provides a full range of testing services and quality management solutions to our clients across multiple industry sectors

•         Translate business requirements into concrete testing scenarios

•         Execute and perform tests

•         Improve business processes using methods, tools and techniques

•         Link between developers, analysts and business

•         Improve the quality of new products

•         Communicator between different cultures and locations

We expect You to:

·         Have basic testing skills, SQL basics, understanding and ability to read XMLs

·         Programming experience as advantage

·         Have a good problem solving and analytical skills

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Be self-motivated and have a passion to learn new software and technologies quickly

·         Have good English (spoken and written) in order to effectively participate in communication within Global team

·         Be legally authorized to work freely in Latvia without company sponsorship (due to the nature of this position)
