We are seeking an intern accountant who will be supporting and contributing in organizing our financial records and administrative tasks. Join us to contribute your skills in a nurturing environment where non-formal learning and diversity are celebrated.

This internship is paid and salary is agreed upon a meeting and mutual agreements.

• Basic knowledge of accounting.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Good command of Latvian and English languages.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
• Able at least 50% of time to work from Riga office

• Performing accounting duties for several running local and international projects.
• Scanning and entering receipts in MS Excel.
• Cooperating with our team on the administrative tasks
• Support in making payments in the State bank, Creating contracts and other necessary paperwork (invoices, travel reimbursements and more).

As an intern at Active Rainbow, you will have the opportunity to learn by doing and gain hands-on experience in accounting and administrative tasks related to running an NGO in Latvia and working with international projects like Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps and other local funding. 

You will be part of an international queer team based in the center of Riga, Latvia, and will be welcome to join our community events which are happening almost every week. You will also have the chance to experience and participate in non-formal learning projects abroad and contribute to the implementation of Human Rights and LGBTQIA+ Education on local and international levels.
